Taranaki
The Taranaki region is location on the west coast of the North Island of New Zealand and has a population of around 110,000. The Taranaki Region has a temperature climate with abundant rainfall given its exposure to the West . The region is extremely fertile given the high rainfall and rich volcanic soil.
The Taranaki Region's economy largely consists of mining, agriculture and farming.
The region consists of three Territorial Authorities; New Plymouth District, Stratford District and the South Taranaki District.
