Youth Job Preparation Programme
This programme is designed to be flexible, offering guided conversations that help young people build skills and think about how their beliefs and actions affect them at work. The goal is to help them understand what’s holding them back and what can help them be their best self in a work environment.
There’s no need for workbooks or expensive resources – just a laptop and a quiet space. It can be run at no cost, anywhere, and is suitable for individuals or small groups of young people (2-4 people). It also acknowledges that some young people may feel more comfortable in one-on-one sessions rather than in larger groups.
The course focuses on building practical skills for getting a job. It’s aimed at young people who have left school and want to work but need more confidence, self-belief, or support to take that step.
