Ministry of Youth Development: Contestable Fund

MYD has recently launched its current funding round, a Contestable Fund that is now open for young people or organisations that need funding to deliver youth development opportunities or a new, innovative enterprise project.

Applications close 2nd July 2018. 

 

There are four different funding streams:

Youth Development – Programmes and Services Fund:

This funds organisations to support the delivery of youth development opportunities. Applications can be for funding between $10,000 and $100,000.

Youth Development – Opportunity for Young People Fund:

This funds young people and/or organisations to support the delivery of youth-led youth development opportunities. Applications can be for funding between $5,000 and $30,000.

Youth Enterprise – Programmes and Services Fund:

This funds young people and/or organisations to support the delivery of business, enterprise and information technology (IT) education and skills development opportunities to young people. Applications can be for funding between $10,000 and $100,000.

Youth Enterprise – Opportunity for Young People Fund:

This funds young people (aged 12 to 24 years) to support the development of a new and/or innovative business/enterprise project or idea. Applications can be for funding between $5,000 and $30,000.

There is around $2 million worth of funding to be distributed across these funding streams.
